“You really think they would’ve done up the place, what with all the media buzz about these companies bringing a ‘new age of prosperity’ and all that bullshit. But trust them to cut corners I suppose.. Just more concrete towers with a different shade of death-black. You can’t bleach out all of the scars and, hell.. What am I saying. You’d think they’d put the fuckin’ effort in. If the whole world getting a bit carried away with nuclear warheads isn’t enough to change people for the better, fuck knows what is. Sometimes I kinda wish they hadn’t missed us. Good enough to wipe out pretty much all of the UK and god knows where else, but somehow you missed the bloody capital of England?? All of the parasitic businesses of Old London folded basically overnight but... new ones always seem to pop up again like some type of ambush predator. At the very least, people are protesting in the streets again, so maybe the local government will do something about the smog that’s been choking the city. It would be nice to finally see the sun again, heh.”
